Summer Time

As we prepare for our third annual "Meet the Artists" show and sale, the place is healing up nicely and the flowers are flourishing from all the rain. I'm hoping the rain stays away August 1st..at least for the hours of our show. I'm so happy we will all be gathering to share the work of our talented artists with our loyal patrons, supporters and new friends. The artists will finally get to receive the praise for their work directly from the customers I hear it from all summer long. We all need encouragement and acknowledgement for what we do, and I so often regret that the artists don't get to hear all the wonderful comments people make during the summer. People treasure hand crafted works, and it is even more special when they finally get to meet the person who has created their work of art or piece of jewelry.

If you're on the island, please stop by Saturday, August 1st from 12 - 4 (or so) and share some food, wine and fun with us. There will be a special musical guest stopping by to make the day even more exciting! We are located between the Toy Museum and the Lighthouse on the harbor.
I will try to post more current photos if time allows (busy week!)...the flowers Mary potted for me are even more glorious than they were here...what joy they have brought me, and everyone who has seen them. Lots of new things coming in this week!
